Fireside Chat with Dr. Jesmen Mendoza: Working with People Who Have Caused Harm in Post-Secondary Case Management

The CACUSS Community of Practice for Case Managers is pleased to host a Fireside Chat with Dr. Jesmen Mendoza, a clinical and forensic psychologist with extensive experience in social service, criminal justice, and post-secondary education. Dr. Mendoza currently serves at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), where he provides therapy, trains emerging professionals, and consults on complex student cases. He is also a Sessional Instructor at OISE, University of Toronto, and an Associate of Possibility Seeds, contributing to national efforts in gender justice and campus sexual violence response.

This session will explore how case managers in post-secondary institutions can effectively engage with individuals who have caused harm while creating and maintaining a healing, values centred approach, community safety and accountability.
