Welcome to the CACUSS Community! CACUSS is a space where student affairs professionals across Canada connect, grow, and lead. Whether you're just starting your student affairs journey or are a seasoned professional, CACUSS is your national network for learning, collaboration, and impact in post-secondary education.
Why Join CACUSS?
Important Note: Before you sign up for an individual membership, please email membership@cacuss.ca to check if your institution has a team membership you may be eligible to join.
Membership Renewal & 2025–26 Fee Update Starting in 2023, CACUSS introduced a “birthday” renewal system. Your membership now renews on the date you join or renew, and will expire on that same date the following year. Example: Renew on March 17, 2024, and your membership runs until March 17, 2025.
For 2025–26, The CACUSS Finance Committee and CACUSS Board of Directors approved an increase to our membership fees by 1.6% to align with the CPI released by Statistics Canada. This adjustment helps us to:

Team Membership
Get the most benefit for your staff, your team, your department, and/or your institution. Team members will get access to all communities & networks, member pricing (significant discounts) on all events including the annual conference,
CACUSS publications, access to awards and recognition programs, the opportunity to vote and hold office, and many new benefits.
Team Membership benefits are similar to prior Institutional Member benefits. Team memberships mean that you can add more members from your department and reap larger discounts for larger teams/participation. Additional benefits include invitations to special events, invitations for Senior Leaders to participate in key conversations, advanced access to research summaries, institutional profiles and ads in the member forum and website, access to free postings on the Canadian Student Affairs Job Board and more. Associate Member - $100/yr
New! Try out a CACUSS membership with subscription access to one (1) Community of Practice/Network, searchable resource directory and online platform, as well as invitation to Community and Networking events.

Full-time enrolled students get many member benefits, at a discounted price, including a further discount rate to the annual conference. Note that you must declare your full-time student status annually.

CACUSS members who have retired or are retiring from their position in Student Affairs in a post-secondary institution may be eligible for Life Membership in CACUSS. Life Membership recognizes the career and milestone of retirement
of an individual whose impact on their campus or to CACUSS is to be acknowledged and celebrated.
