Membership FAQ

CACUSS is moving to a new website and membership system in February 2023. As part of this transition, it gave us an opportunity to rethink how we offer memberships. In order to encourage as much flexibility for various institution types, departments, and teams to join CACUSS and to encourage teams to share the benefits of membership more widely, we developed a team (or bulk) membership option. This option allows either your entire division of student affairs, or various departments within an institution to take out various sizes of memberships. The more team members that join, the less it will cost (per individual). It reduces the number of individual transactions that both your department/institution and CACUSS needs to process.

The current (2022-2023) membership year is May 1, 2022-April 30, 2023. As of 2023, CACUSS is moving to a “birthday” calendar year. So moving forward your renewal date will be dependent on when you renew. So if you choose to renew/join on March 17, your future renewal date is March 16 (the following year). CACUSS members do have a grace period of 60 days to renew. You may purchase a CACUSS membership at any point in the year.
The CACUSS renewal period for 2023 will open on March 1.

Yes, we accept Visa and Mastercard. Once you log into your CACUSS account, there will be an option to access your profile. You will see your invoices and be able to pay them online using your credit card.
Yes! You can still renew your CACUSS membership even though you superseded the deadline. Simply login, and follow the renewal prompt that will appear in your browser.
