This session will feature, a conversation with Sukhmani Khaira, Community Life Coordinator within Residence Life at York University who will share their experiences supporting students and their families in university housing communities;  and Joanne Lieu, a graduate from the Higher Education doctoral program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto who will share insights from her doctoral research study which explored the experiences of post-secondary student caregivers who provide elder carer and other forms of non-parenting related family caregiving while pursuing post-secondary studies.  Joanne will also highlight ways campuses can become family friendly.
