As we head into student staff and volunteer recruitment season, February's CoP gathering will focus on student peer educators. Our CoP Co-Chair Jason Laker will open the session with a short presentation on his recent research on the use of student peer educators in post-secondary GBV prevention and response programs. Then, we'll have an informal panel discussion and Q&A with three of our CoP members: Wil Prakash Fujarczuk, Ella Haladin, and Jason Laker on the following topics:

Job description and scope of role for peer educators

Recruitment and selection

Initial onboarding and training

Ongoing mentorship and support

Working conditions (compensation, recognition, scheduling, etc)

Successes? Challenges?
