In this session, participants will learn about basic functions of Power Automate that can be applied to common administrative actions and processes in Advising. Participants will leave the session with a plan to feasibly build, test, and implement a minor (2- to 3-step) automation, to begin building familiarity and confidence in usage of Microsoft Power Automate.

Microsoft Power Automate is a Microsoft application that helps users to construct and sequence automated actions across multiple Microsoft Office apps, in order to partially or fully automate standardized processes and procedures, while also supporting consistent recordkeeping and data organization. In this session, participants will learn about basic functions of Power Automate that can be applied to common administrative actions and processes in Advising. Participants will leave the session with a plan to feasibly build, test, and implement a minor (2- to 3-step) automation, to begin building familiarity and confidence in usage of Microsoft Power Automate.
