Registration is open exclusively for IASAS Effective Members until January 22, 2026. All prices will have 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) added.

Non-Members: $350 CAD plus HST

Virtual Participants: $75 CAD plus HST

The 8th Global Summit on Student Affairs and Services 

Fast Forward: Keeping the Pace with a Rapidly Changing World

The International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS, Canadian Association for College and University Student Affairs and Services (CACUSS), the University of Toronto, and Hart House are collaborating to host the 8th Global Summit on Student Affairs and Services at the University of Toronto, Canada on 27-30 October 2026. 


Objectives 

The Global Summit brings together leaders in Student Affairs from across the globe to engage in a strategic dialogue on key issues in Student Affairs and Higher Education. It is a platform for critical discussion and can deepen a community of practice that spans the globe, within an international framework of services for students. 


Participants and target audience 

The Global Summit is a key strategic event for the leadership of international, national and regional organisations in student affairs and services. 


Location Details

The summit meetings will be held at Hart House, University of Toronto.  7 Hart House Circle, Toronto, ON M5S3H3.


We have held a limited number of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott. 475 Yonge St., Toronto, ON M4Y1X7. The Rate is $339.00 CAD plus applicable fees and taxes per night. You will receive the reservations link upon registration for the Summit. Rooms must be booked by September 1.

Background 

The previous Global Summits were held in Washington (2012), Rome (2014), Cape Town (2016), Santiago de Chile (2018), Virtual (2021), Ireland (2022), and South Korea (2024)


Costs 

Registration fee for the Global Summit is $275 for IASAS Effective members, $350 for non-members (early bird rate in effect until March 31, 2026). This fee includes participation in all summit programming, breakfast on Wed/Thur/Fri, lunch on Wed/Thur, a reception on Tuesday and dinner Thursday.  Participants to the summit must cover their own travel and accommodation. 

 

There is also a virtual registration option which includes participation in most of the program but not meals and receptions.

CACUSS is a professional association representing and serving those individuals who work in Canadian post-secondary institutions in student affairs and services. CACUSS provides professional development services and programs for members in all the Canadian provinces. Cross-divisional interest groups called communities of practice and networks focus on areas such as student health and wellness, first-year students, new professionals, and leadership education. CACUSS sponsors several professional development events annually which are open to all.
