This is a free event and is open to all members and non-members! This interactive workshop introduces participants to the foundations of mentoring. Participants will learn what makes mentoring relationships successful and how mentors and mentees can work together to support learning, growth, and development. By the end of the session, participants will have practical strategies to strengthen their mentoring relationships and make the most of their mentoring experiences. Speaker Bio: Ben Dantzer (he/him) is a mentoring researcher and advocate. He is currently working as the Senior Manager of Quality Mentoring and Capacity-Building at Mentor Canada, where he leads national efforts to strengthen the quality and impact of mentoring relationships and programs across the country. Ben earned a Ph.D. in Human Development and Learning from the University of British Columbia, where he researched and specialized in mentoring. He also volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, grounding his work in firsthand experience and a deep personal commitment to the power of mentoring relationships.
