This two-day virtual roundtable brings together practitioners working in Accessible Learning Services (ALS), and Student Conduct Administration to explore how these roles intersect and how institutions can better support learners while maintaining student centred processes.
Day 1 begins with a shared foundational overview of the purpose, principles, and scope of practice for ALS, Student Conduct, and BIT/CARE/Threat Assessment teams, ensuring participants have common language and understanding. The day will also feature a case study, illustrating how these functions can collaborate effectively in practice, followed by structured networking time to support cross-role dialogue and relationship building.
Day 2 shifts from understanding to application, with a focused session on concrete ways student conduct processes can better support accessible learning services' goals, alongside strategies for how ALS can proactively support student accountability processes. The event concludes with a guided fireside chat, inviting all participants into a reflective, practice-oriented conversation about systems, responsibilities, and future directions.
Featuring multiple guest speakers, this roundtable is designed for practitioners seeking practical strategies, shared frameworks, and collaborative approaches. Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/WpPrjG1cRKKeexuMYcmYFw
